Interview: Peter Laird « The Daily Cross Hatch. Probably can’t overstate how important Eastman and Laird were to the growing of the independent comic scene. One thing Laird mentions in there is how important the Pini’s were to them… I never really thought about Elfquest being groundbreaking, but I guess Elves have always been groundbreaking. Or something.
